Our stay was a nice experience. Everything was good, however we stayed for 2 nights only. Location: the hotel was just off the attractions and King Mullen supermarket and central New York by train. Our room was recently renovated and large and complete with the condition and bathroom, as example. The staff was excellent & very attentive.

Almost everthing at the Country Inn was fine. I will explain "almost" in the did not section. For the most part the Inn was fine. As for the section pertaining to the Hotel. I never mark excellent because there is always room for improvement. Your facility was very good.
There was one flaw in the hotel. The lighting in the room is very bad. There should be lamps on the night stands to turn off at night instead of having to rise up and push the buttons on the wall. One could easily get hurt if they would slip when doing this. Also the bulbs are atrocious. get rid of the bulbs they are now using and replace them with normal bulbs. I know you won't do this but I had to let you know my feelings. One last thing. Get better cable channels on your tv. I do not know why you exclude fox. Never watched the television because of that.

Uncomfortable bed. Heater made strange dripping noise all night. Shower curtain broken. Something that looked like blood in the bathroom. Undrinkable coffee for breakfast.

Swimming pool was not available. Bathroom jacuzzi did not work. Top and bottom of door to hotel room had large gaps. Smell in upstairs hallway and hotel room was not a fresh smell.

The room was clean and accommodating, but I was not expecting the eerie ghostly microwave that just wouldn't stop spinning. I appreciated how the staff was so helpful when I needed a non-smoking room. they went above and beyond! However, the maintenance needs attention—some lightbulbs were out, and the chair was falling apart. I wouldn't choose this place again, at least not at this state.

Dirty, poorly run, welfare type hotel. I was there 10 yrs ago and it was great, this visit I stayed 1 night and booked a real hotel. The 12 yr old girl running the desk also charged me for two nights because I did not give proper notice 1 day in advance (their policy)

decent stay with room for improvement
The convenience of being able to shop for groceries across the street added a lot to my stay. The ample space on the bathroom vanity allowed me to organize my things easily.
The sliding door provided good ventilation but needed a bit of maintenance.

They were friendly and tryed hard .... but the hotel is a very old building and needs lots of repairs.... the bathroon grout was molded black around the tub, carpet smelled musty and some of the lights did not work in the room. I would not stay there again at all and never recomend. I also want to say the Jacuzzi tub did not work and it was too high a tub for my Mom to get into we stay 3 nights and had to wash in sink .... Very unpleasent stay . But the beds looked new and were comfortable.

On arrival, the bathroom towels were dirty, and the room had a strange odor. The pillows were uncomfortable, the blanket was stained?dirty, the mattress was old. The breakfast was minimal and the coffee terrible.

Accessibility was a key benefit, as the location is conveniently near a market and popular eateries. The lack of cleanliness was alarming. I found filthy walls and a broken bathroom mirror. The bed frame's sharp edge caused an injury, highlighting unsafe conditions. It was a distressing experience that demanded immediate attention from management.
